It seems that more and more groups are taking precautions against spread of the Coronavirus.
The Senior Center is one of them. Our TSD classes will be cancelled until mid-April
Region 20 is another one. Our Friendship Tournament in May has been cancelled.

Tang Soo Do is one of the oldest martial art systems. It originated in Korea around two thousand years ago. Today, its techniques and philosophy are still taught as they were first taught in ancient times.
An oriental proverb says that a good beginning brings us half way to our goal. [...] The goal of Tang Soo Do is not to progress violence. As you progress you will realize that Tang Soo Do is a way of life. It provides a way of thinking and acting which will guide you and teach you in all areas of your life, so that you will be happier, healthier, and wiser.
Jae C. Shin, WTSDA Founder
Note: The Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do includes elements of Chinese Kung Fu and of Japanese Karate. Some people call it "Korean Karate."
Prominent Tang Soo Do students include Chuck Norris, Michael Jai White, Bruce Buffer, Cynthia Rothrock, and Robert Wall.
Our members' ages range from 4 years old to the high 80s. Skill levels range from white belt beginners to 4th degree black belt master level.
In addition to family classes, we also offer longer, higher intensity adult classes. Our members frequently place at regional and international tournaments, which speaks to the quality of our training.
We train two days a week at the beautiful Huntington Beach Senior Center in Central Park. Our instructors are certified by the World Tang Soo Do Association. Come on by to observe or participate in our training. You don't need to be an athlete to start training with us and you will always be greeted with a very warm welcome. We provide a safe, comfortable training environment and sparring is usually no touch (light touch for higher skill levels).
The goal of Tang Soo Do is to obtain victory without combat, to achieve harmony in nature, and to develop knowledge of mind, body and spirit. As you progress and study Tang Soo Do, you will realize that it builds life skills, a stronger character, and virtues to enhance humanity, all for the purpose of a better world.
Robert E. Beaudoin, Grandmaster and President
